As a native of the Canandaigua area and a long-time real estate professional, my 22-year career naturally led me to the realization that my experience needed to be invested into something greater.
At 18—while many were choosing the traditional path of a college degree—I was introduced to an opportunity in real estate by my mentor. For 13 years, I learned hands-on within her successful real estate team. I quickly recognized that the business experience I was gaining in real estate was becoming its own kind of paid college education.
In 2015, I ventured into an independent sales career that eventually grew into a team of top professionals known as Danielle Clement Homes. Our team of incredible women has been annually recognized for community service and industry performance. My passion for reinvesting my knowledge into others opened the door for an exciting new chapter: partnering to create the area’s award-winning boutique real estate brokerage, Tru Agent Real Estate.
Today, our brokerage includes more than 30 top professionals, operating from two locations serving both the Rochester market and the Finger Lakes region. My vision has always been to grow our business with a quality-first mentality. Curating educational content and creating meaningful opportunities—such as business planning clinics and mastermind dinners—has helped us stay grounded in what our agents and staff truly need in an ever-evolving industry.
As a lifelong Realtor, I’ve had the unique gift of being immersed in this world through every type of market. A crash, a buyer’s market, a seller’s market, a pandemic… you name it. I’ve had the privilege of serving clients with unique and challenging needs—selling legacy family estate properties, historic homes, lakefront and luxury properties, and guiding first-time buyers and investors.
Understanding the full 360 degrees of real estate allows me to bring perspective, strategy, and meaningful advice to my clients regardless of their goals.
In 2023, my husband David and I opened the Finger Lakes’ premier boutique hotel, the Canandaigua 1892 Hotel, which we own and operate together. Having this passion project as a family business gives me a unique perspective and enriches my ability to lead and support others through both business and life. I deeply believe that passion, the pursuit of excellence, and a commitment to family form the foundation of meaningful work.
My children—Jameson, Lauren, and my bonus kiddos Sebastian and Luca—are my life’s greatest gifts. If given the choice, you’ll most often find me in my kitchen, nourishing the hearts and minds of these precious little people.
